The event was officially inaugurated at Pakansari Stadium in Cibinong by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Taufik Hidayat, alongside Diana Kusumastuti, the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Gateball Association (PB Pergatsi) on Friday, May 16. In a significant step towards bringing Indonesian Gateball to the global stage, SPYROS is proud to sponsor the 2025 Gateball National Championship. The event was officially inaugurated at Pakansari Stadium in Cibinong by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Taufik Hidayat, alongside Diana Kusumastuti, the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Gateball Association (PB Pergatsi) on Friday, May 16.

During the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Taufik Hidayat remarked, “The Gateball National Championship is a pivotal moment to strengthen a healthy competitive spirit while expanding community participation in sports.” He further emphasised that the Ministry of Youth and Sports will provide comprehensive support for the development of Gateball in Indonesia.
